4.Management of Personal Information
The Company shall appropriately train and supervise its employees and third-party service providers to protect the personal information entrusted to it, and shall endeavor to prevent information leakage, loss, and errors or inaccuracies. The Company shall carefully select such service providers, and shall require them to sign agreements regarding the handling of personal information to prevent leakage, loss, and unauthorized alteration, and shall provide guidance for improvements as necessary.

The Company may jointly use the acquired personal information as follows:

( 2 )To contact individuals via telephone, fax, courier, email, or other means for purposes such as information about their services and offers, questionnaires, and customer satisfaction surveys conducted by thegroup companies, in addition to the provision of products and services under contracts with individuals, as specified in the preceding paragraph.
6.Cookies and Web Beacons
Cookies are a feature that stores user information in their browser, enabling users to avoid re-entering information and to view content optimized for each user.
“Web beacons” (also referred to as “clear GIFs”) are technologies used to measure access to websites and individual pages. The Company uses these technologies on its websites and smartphone applications for purposes such as enabling users to view internet advertisements optimally and to avoid re-entering information, as well as counting the number of browsers viewing advertisements for each piece of content and measuring access activity. Cookies can identify the user’s browser but cannot identify the individual user. The same applies to web beacons.
Additionally, some advertisements displayed on the Company’s websites are delivered via third-party servers. Similarly, some parts of the websites use measurement servers operated by such third-party companies to track access activity. Such third-party companies also use cookies and web beacons for efficient advertisement delivery and access measurement. The Company has conducted prior investigations to ensure that such cookies and web beacons comply with its usage standards; however, as the information is stored on such third-party servers, it is managed in accordance with their privacy policies. 7.Inquiries
The Company shall promptly respond to requests for disclosure, correction, or suspension of use of personal information. However, when such requests are made, the Company will verify the identity of the individual through appropriate methods to prevent information leakage due to fraudulent disclosure requests.
8.Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
The Company will not provide or disclose personal information to third parties except in the following cases:
1.When consent has been obtained from the individual.
2.When required by laws and regulations.
3.When there is a risk that specific rights and interests such as life, body, or property may be harmed, and personal information is required to protect them, where it is difficult to obtain the individual’s consent.
4.When national agencies or other public institutions require cooperation from private companies to carry out affairs stipulated by law, where it would interfere with such affairs for such private companies to obtain the individual’s consent for providing personal information to such national agencies or public institutions.
